AGENDA

DAY ONE
JAN 6 – Welcome to America
Delegates will be greeted by the organizing committee upon arrival in Las Vegas. Transportation from the airport to the Aria Hotel will be provided. Delegates will have time to settle in and explore Las Vegas. An informal briefing about HTRS 9 and the planned agenda will take place over a light dinner, followed by an open evening so that delegates can explore Las Vegas on their own.
DAY TWO
JAN. 7 – Consumer Electronics Show and Business Matchmaking
Delegates will have the opportunity to explore the Consumer Electronics Show, the largest tech tradeshow in America. Over 170,000 attendees are expected and over 3,500 exhibiting companies will showcase their products and services this year.  Meetings will be arranged with CES officials and other key business representatives, and delegates will have a VIP tour of CES.  The day will close with an official welcome dinner hosted by NUSACC and IJMA3-USA.
DAY THREE
JAN. 8  –  Consumer Electronics Show, Press Conference, and Business Matchmaking
Delegates will have morning and afternoon customized tours and meetings with targeted companies interested in the MENA region markets at the Consumer Electronics Show.  The remaining part of the day will be dedicated to a Press Conference between HTRS and CES.  Matchmaking meetings will be arranged based on request and availability with any of the over 3,500 exhibiting companies attending CES this year.
DAY FOUR
JAN. 9  – Free Day to Explore CES
For the remainder of their time in Las Vegas, delegates will enjoy an unstructured free day to spend time visiting the thousands of companies, participants, and displays at CES.
DAY FIVE
JAN. 10 – Travel Day from Las Vegas to San Francisco / Silicon Valley
Delegates will depart Las Vegas in the morning and fly to San Francisco, arriving midday.  Upon arrival, there will be free time to rest or to explore San Francisco before attending an Arab Cocktail Reception hosted by the Tech Museum.  Transportation will be provided in the morning to the Las Vegas airport, and upon arrival to the Palo Alto Four Seasons hotel, as well as to and from the evening’s cocktail reception.
DAY SIX
JAN. 11 –  Executive Meetings with America’s Leading Tech Companies and Entrepreneurs
A series of corporate visits with America’s leading tech companies and entrepreneurs will be arranged. Past delegations have met with executives from Cisco, Google, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Yahoo, and more, as well as entrepreneurs from leading tech companies.  Transportation and dinner will be provided at the close of the day’s planned events.
​DAY SEVEN
 JAN. 12 – Entrepreneurship Conferences & Business Matchmaking
Following breakfast, business matchmaking and roundtable discussions will take place with various ICT companies around Silicon Valley.  After breaking for a midday lunch, delegates will participate in two conference sessions focused on Entrepreneurship.  After the days activities, dinner and transportation will be provided in the evening.
DAY EIGHT
 JAN. 13 – Travel Day From Silicon Valley to Washington, D.C.
Delegates will take a morning flight from Silicon Valley to Washington, D.C., with transportation provided to and from the airports. The afternoon will be free for delegates to rest or spend some time exploring the sights around Washington, DC  An optional dinner will be arranged in the evening with transportation provided.
DAY NINE
JAN. 14  –  HTRS Conferences and Fellowship Program
Delegates will spend the day attending the HTRS Conference held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.  There will be morning and afternoon sessions, consisting of four parts: a welcome session and three panel discussions.  The evening will include a private dinner for all delegates.
DAY TEN
JAN. 15 – VIP Meetings and Farewell Dinner
On their final full day, delegates will attend two high-level meetings with various governmental departments and agencies, to further discuss and build business relations between the MENA region and the United States. Following the conference, a gala dinner and a press conference discussing the launch of the HTRS Fellowship Program will be organized for the delegates by NUSACC and IJMA3-USA.
